Joe Lee

Not much is known about Joe Lee except he was a slave and that he married a slave girl by the name of Fannie. Fannie is said to had been sold into Green Street, Alabama to a slave owner by the name of Enoch Salter. Enoch outbidded another slave owner and paid $2000 for Fannie and $200 for her child Allen. Joe and Fannie had a little girl they called Nellie.
