John Henry Preyear
John Henry Preyear, known as "Shag" was born in 1913 and he was husband of Maggie Tait Preyear and they had four children: John D., Roger, Carvin, and David. John Henry "Shag" and Maggie lived in Monroe Station all of their lives. John Henry "Shag" Preyear was a member of Bugs Hill Church which was close to Monroe Station. "Shag" died in 1972.
